He was a teacher in NCKU in Tainan and he was known as one of the successful English Bloggers in Taiwan. The talk was held at the school campus and people who attended the talk are International Mass Communication students of Ming Chuan University sophomores and who are dedicated to participate during the talk. The host during that time was our teacher in Internet Journalism Dr Bell from Scotland. Before the speech, we prepared our questionnaires and equipment for recording details of the speech. The talk covered about two hours including some times for picture-takings and asking questions.

Before the nineth of november, everybody prepare for their questions but most of them have no time to be answered since the time is limited. We were in groups and we all share our videos and photos since we co-operate together to get as many details and pictures as we can and so we can have the whole information about the talk. I worked with Emma and Nam while I did the photo taking, Nam did the recording and Emma did the video camera. Everything goes smooth during the talk since we already know about the talk by our teacher giving us the full details couple of weeks before. So we have our list of questions, we have the camera and the the video camera and also bring our note pad for taking notes during the talk. Everything was fine and the talk was clear and straight to the point making us easy to understand, but only the facts that we have lots of questions but there is not enough time to answer them. But even thought, the talk is quite clear and show the main points. Another problem that I and my group member discover is our recording video that doesn't have any sound. We don't know what really the problem is but among my photo takings I also took short videos and so we use it. So after the talk, we exchange everything and start working on our project. I noticed that its quite easier to work in groups since its more convenient and helpful and besides I learnt not to just depend on one work but try to catch as many as I can, for example the video having a problem.

Well, the talk held on the ninth of November in the MCU classroom where Michael Turton gives a brief talk about his famous blog in Taiwan and which is based on the View of Taiwan. The purpose of building his blog is for marketing, changing the world, raise taiwan profile around the world and to faster a taiwan blog community. He also said that Taiwan will be saved if it globalized since Taiwan now have a major problem with china and so if taiwan was known by the world, it will supported from being want to indepent from china and so it saved.

Aside from his purpose of building his blog, he also mentioned that he had his personal goals which lead him to build up his blog. It is to change the way Taiwan is discussed in the world media. He also mentioned that working on a blog need lots of time and energy and he can sit infront of his computer on his butt for the whole day working on his blog. He said that working throughout the blog is based on building links like link to others, comment on the blogs, do daily links posts, promote the good work of other people, promote related events and activities, be useful, technorati, change habits like to find ways to get people like your blog. He said he did that by posting good links like Taiwan hot-springs and the whole landscape of taiwan, the people and activities of taiwan which may lead people interest in the pictures. Aside from those pictures, he also put some political news and other good links. these may attach peoples attention and being wanting to explore the whole blog. But he like most is to promote related recent events and activities in taiwan like new year celebrations with fireworks.

On the contents, he's working based on content-driven which includes knowing what you are talking about, new content up everyday, stick with a predictable theme or focus, keep yourself out, plenty of visuals, narrow the focus, know your audience, know who are the people that you want to influence, rip up the media, talking and teaching people.

Finally, he concluded with " You can change the way people think".
